Join us in California and step into a snow wonderland and experience Yosemite National Park like few ever do, in the heart of winter, when the park is at its most peaceful and awe-inspiring.
During this 5-day curated women-only adventure, we will adventure through towering granite cliffs, ancient sequoia groves, and magical frozen waterfalls. This small-group journey is designed for women seeking beauty, connection, and adventure, without the summer crowds.
Activity level: Moderate
This trip is best suited for active women who enjoy being outdoors and are comfortable with moderate to strenuous physical activity in a winter environment. Snowshoeing is the highlight of this adventure. If you haven't snowshoed before, this is a great way to learn and try it in a moderate and controlled environment. Proper winter gear and a sense of adventure are essential! A detailed list of what to pack and how to plan for this adventure will be sent to you before the start of your adventure.

Your adventure kicks off with a group pick-up in San Francisco, where you’ll meet your fellow travelers and hit the road for an unforgettable escape.
Settle in for a scenic drive through California’s changing landscapes: from city skyline to rolling hills to towering pines, as we make our way toward the majestic beauty of Yosemite. We’ll take a couple of relaxed stops along the way for snacks, views, and fresh mountain air before arriving at our cozy accommodation.
Wander through Yosemite’s snow-dusted valley floor on guided hikes that blend adventure with insight. You’ll visit world-famous viewpoints like El Capitan and Bridalveil Fall, while learning fascinating stories about the park’s unique ecology, dramatic geology, and deep-rooted Indigenous history. It’s the perfect way to experience the magic of Yosemite in winter, without the crowds.
Embark on a moderately challenging 7.4-mile snowshoe adventure through peaceful meadows and snow-covered conifer forests. Your destination? Dewey Point is one of the most breathtaking winter viewpoints in Yosemite, with sweeping panoramas of El Capitan, Half Dome, and the snow-capped Sierra Nevada. Refuel mid-hike with a hearty lunch of fresh deli sandwiches, fruit, and cookies. We’ll end the day with a sunset stop at Tunnel View, where golden light spills over the valley, a dream for photographers and nature lovers alike.
Start your day with a scenic snowshoe or hike to a Grove of Giant Sequoias, where you'll walk among ancient trees that have stood for over 2,000 years. The trail descends gently into the grove, offering a magical winter setting beneath towering giants.
In the afternoon, we head to one of Yosemite’s best-kept secrets to hike a peaceful, mostly flat 5-mile trail to stunning waterfalls, passing granite cliffs, quiet forests, and sweeping lake views. This off-the-beaten-path corner of Yosemite offers a tranquil finale to your adventure, with fewer crowds and postcard-worthy scenery around every turn.
After one last morning soaking in the crisp mountain air and views of Yosemite’s winter beauty, it’s time to say goodbye to the park and the amazing women you’ve shared this journey with. We’ll enjoy a relaxed, scenic drive back to San Francisco, taking with us unforgettable memories, new friendships, and the magic of Yosemite in winter.
